2019 Alabama Veterinary Economic Forum

The ALVMA is sponsoring the first Alabama Veterinary Economic Forum on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. The Forum will have a unique format with invited speakers and presenters and a Roundtable made up of a cross section of the State’s Veterinarians. The Roundtable will focus questions with the goal of creating action items for future use by Alabama’s veterinary community.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Matt Salois, Chief Economist for the AVMA.  Topics to be discussed will include national and regional veterinary economic trends as well as topics related to business management, HR issues, student debt and educational economic issues as well as Corporate Medicine and practice sales in the state.  There will also be an audience Question and Answer time.

This will be a one day Forum and it is free to Alabama veterinarians. Registration is required since seating is limited and there will be a cost for lunch if you wish to eat at the meeting site.  You may download the agenda here.
