ALVMF Spay/Neuter tag program

Help us help them!

Time to renew your tags? Help out a pet when you do!

Approximately 120,000 or 75% of healthy, adoptable cats and dogs brought into Alabama shelters are euthanized each year. You can help reduce pet overpopulation by purchasing a spay/neuter license plate tag or checking off a donation at the end of your Alabama Income Tax form.

The sale of car tags and money donated through the income tax check-off, provides spay/neuter surgeries for qualifying low income families. To date, more than 60 veterinarians have performed almost 15,000 surgeries across our state through this Alabama Veterinary Medical Association (ALVMF) program.

You can also donate directly to the ALVMF spay/neuter program online www.alvmf.org. Alabama’s pets are counting on you!
