CDC HOSTS RABIES DAY SYMPOSIUM

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will be hosting a World Rabies Day Symposium and Expo on Friday, September 7, 2007. The Symposium will be a national scientific meeting open to international scientists, public health professionals, veterinarians, clinicians, professional audiences, and the general public. Discussions will celebrate the many successes made domestically in the field of rabies control, prevention, and treatment, while also discussing some of the challenges ahead both domestically and abroad.

REGISTRATION IS FREE
|

The Symposium will begin and end with a general session, while the mid-morning and afternoon will have breakout and poster sessions. An exhibit hall will serve as an “Expo” (or Exposition) of rabies biological products and other information focused on rabies prevention and control.
