New Association Officers Installed at Annual Convention

Dr. Henry Childers, past president of the American Veterinary Medical Association installed news officers of the Alabama VMA during ceremonies held at the Association’s 100^th Annual Convention in Orange Beach, Alabama June 28 – July 1, 2007.  Dr. Mark Russell of Huntsville stepped into the president’s position and Dr. Michael Newman of Decatur moved up to president-elect.  Dr. Larry Chasteen of Pell City will serve as vice-president for the 2008 term, and Dr. Libby Todd of Birmingham advanced to senior board member. Newly elected to the position of junior board member was Dr. William Holland of Dothan.  Dr. Aaron H. Groth, Jr. of Auburn was reinstalled as treasurer. Congratulations to the new executive leadership of the Alabama VMA.
