Russell Takes Helm of ALVMA
|
|
Dr. C. Mark Russell of Huntsville assumed the presidency of the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association during ceremonies held June 30th at the Association’s 100th Annual convention. During his acceptance speech Dr. Russell said “We cannot ignore the challenges ahead. We must not cocoon in our offices and ignore the forces of changes around us. We can influence and shape the future much like our founders in the early years, or, we can leave it to others and have changes thrust upon us. As we enter a new era and complete our first 100 years, we are building on the legacy provided by previous generations. This year I look forward with great anticipation for what we can continue to do together; Finding answers to the problems facing our profession."
