Spay/Neuter License Plates


 

Since the beginning of the distributions of funds to assist Medicaid recipients with the spaying and neutering of their pets, the Alabama Veterinary Medical Foundation has taken in a little over $91,000.00 through the sale of the spay/neuter license plates.  To date, nearly, 1,100 procedures in this spay/neuter effort have taken place since April of this year. (To Read More)

Dr. Jan Strother Seeks AVMA VP Position


Dr. Jan Strother, past president of the Alabama VMA (1997-1998) and current Alternate Delegate to the AVMA is running to fill the 2010 vacancy of the American Veterinary Medical Association Vice President position.
